Engineering Paint Facility

Our paint facility is able to handle many paint applications from painting prototype pieces and show properties to small production runs using an air dry urethane paint system.

Services offered:

• Taking a preproduction Body in White from a raw sheet metal shell to a ready to assemble body with primer, paint, sealer and sound deadening foam applied
• Painting test parts; small parts, full panels or partial bodies
• Running parts through the high bake oven; curing of structural adhesives, heat cycle tests or to verify cavity temperatures for production processes
• Powder coating small pieces
• Painting show or display properties

Equipment

• 4 Down draft paint booths with low bake capability (175 degree)
• 2 Wash decks with an eco friendly orange cleaning solution
• 3 Sanding stations
• 2 High bake ovens capable of baking an entire vehicle (350 degree)
• 3 Sealing hoists
• 1 undercoating hoist
• 1 Beta foaming station
